The MeiLan M2 bike computer as a 2.5-inch high definition FSTN display with anti-glare technology, visible from all angles in the sun.
It has a nice round design that fits on your bike like it was meant to be there, white and black, clean and compact.
There are 3 buttons under the 2.5-inch display a USB charging port and an ON/OF button on the left side.
The Meilan M2 is IPX6 Grade waterproof and can withstand heavy rain environments. That’s a needed feature as we all know we can’t control the weather and we might stumble upon rainy clouds.
It can also withstand high and low temperatures that mean no matter what season you’re riding your bike, the Meilan M2 will work as usual.
There are 2 ways you can mount the Meilan M2 computer on your bike and should decide on your own whats the most comfortable way.
1) Hand-bar extension frame.
2) Stem
I went with the Stern as the hand-bar extension didn’t fit my bike, it was too big.
The Melian M2 is equipped with an internal battery 900 mAh that could last up to 20 hours without any charging.
In case you need to change the device you can use the provided USB cable and charge it. It also has a high precision global positioning build-in GPS chip that will help you with tracking your cycling data and uploading to Strava, Komoot or other sport-related websites.
All the riding data that you have gathered can be saved and uploaded via the USB cable. That’s very comfortable as you can share everything with your friends.
If you bought only the Melian M2 you won’t be able to use all the features and you need to buy them separately.

My Opinion
As I said before, I love riding bicycles when the weather is good, and while riding I always feel something is missing. Like knowing the current temperature, heartbeat, speed or track my route. MeiLan M2 b bike computer is basically something that does all those things and works very well. I really liked the round design and relatively simple functionality.
I think everyone that loves riding a bike should consider a bike computer and I do think that the MeiLan M2 computer is something you definitely need to consider.

Disclosure: MeiLan M2 Bike Computer was sent to me by MeiLan for reviewing.
I agree to your comments. The guideline does not describe how I can delete data from the usb flash. My flash is full and I cannot upload activities anymore. Do you have an idea?
Hi Christof,
I would recommend contacting them directly as I didn’t try to delete the data from the USB flash.
If you see the drive when you connect it, just delete it manually.
Alex.
To delete data, connect the M2 to your computer with the connecting cable.
Access the M2 in File explorer (windows) and delete the relevant .fit files.
See page 8 item number 3 in the manual
can it connect to strava in smartphone using bluetooth ?
HiSuwandi,
I didn’t try to connect to Strava.
Everyone who received the Bike Computer from Meilin for review does not tell you that the app does not work!
Unfortunately,I don’t have the unit and I can’t confirm what you are saying. If you have any isuees please do contact the company directly.
Het instellen vind ik persoonlijk lastig omdat er geen Nederlandse handleiding te vinden is. Heeft iemand misschien een Nederlandse handleiding voor de M2?
They manual is not complicated but if you don’t understand something please contact the company directly
A “review” like this is almost useless since it actually is just a “view”. All you say is that you like it. For any indepth infos and questions you refer to “the company”.
