Today I’m going to review the Wavlink Aerial HD2 – AC600 Dual-band Wireless Range Extender from Wavlink. Let’s start with a little introduction, Wavlink as over 15 years of expertise in the market of wireless networks and comprehensive IT peripherals. They have distribution networks in a verity of countries like China, the Middle East, H.K, Australia, Norway, etc. They sell their products on online platforms like Amazon, eBay, Tmall, JD, etc.
I want to point out its the first time I review a wireless router or extender and I’m always excited to test tech-related items that I never reviewed before.

Design and Features

In the front of the main unit, you will find 6 led lights indicators, the upper 3 are for the wifi signal, 1 for the power, Wifi connection, and Wan/Lan connection. The Ariel ac600 comes in while color and designed like a capsule.
The size of the main unit is 180mm X 50mm, antenna size 250mm.
The unit as four modes you can use it for to, it can work as a wireless access point (AP), repeater, WISP, or as a router its basically a 4-in-1 device.
Power Over Ethernet
Let’s not forget it has integrated PoE( Power over Ethernet ) support, what it means it’s allowing this device to be installed in areas where power outlets are not readily available.

After connecting everything you will need to go to this IP address and get set up the setting, you will find all the instructions in the manual that is provided.
For me, it wasn’t hard to set up everything but if not a tech person you might encounter difficulties but don’t worry if you follow the steps in the manual or the video guild you will find it easy enough even for first-timers.

My Opinion
My experience is limited by using WiFi Boosters but I really like the idea.
I’m using a WiFi router in my apartment and I always get very low signals in some rooms that’s why I used the ARIEAL HD2–AC600 WiFi Booster and I’m quite happy with the results. I have used it as a Wifi amplifier and everything works like a charm and I’m quite happy with the results.
Now I have good signals in all of my rooms, much better than before, I would definitely say I have solved the WiFi signal problem, thanks to the ARIEAL HD2–AC600 WiFi Booster.
If you want to extend your WiFi signals, in the house or outdoors I think ARIEAL AC600 is a product you have to consider.
